Resolis Community Arts - Salthouse

06 March 2024

Starts: 19:30

Wednesday 6 March   7.30   Resolis Memorial Hall

Ewan and Jenny are joined on this occasion by SALLY SIMPSON performing their new songs that sound as if they’ve always been here.  Ancient ballads woken up.  Poems given the melodies they’ve long deserved.  Songs strong rooted in place, people and their shared love of the natural world.

This spring SALT HOUSE launched their latest studio album ‘Riverwoods’ - a musical response to SCOTLAND: The Big Picture’s feature-length documentary, of the same name, recently featured on Channel 5. This collection of songs and instrumentals was inspired by the journey of the atlantic salmon and through the rich biodiversity along our river systems.

"Characterful new songs and settings, deftly woven" The Scotsman
